It's been said before but with these new pictures it's very clear. These costumes are FUGLY! And is that the "Dance at the Gym" or a scene from Saturday Night Fever?

I'm having a little trouble looking away from the gorgeousness of the cast to really take note of their costumes...

Really. That's one gorgeous cast.

Okay, so the costumes look...colourful...but it's not catastrophic. I'm not sure why people are freaking out so early in the run...I mean at least wait until they're on Broadway to not watch the show and complain loudly, eh?

The hair-styles need to be fixed too. Laurents already changed the sets, and got rid of the surtitles. Hopefully the costumes and hair are next.

Do they really have long hair in the 50's? (ala Jonas Brothers) or that's like in the 70's already? I thought its kinda clean cut look complete with pomade? (you know.. James Dean look?)
