Any word if this is still going to happen in 2010?

I never heard that it was happening.
Why wouldn't it?
This is a show that will sell very well on tour.

I think there was a broadway.com article this spring saying it would launch a tour in fall of 2010.
This will definitely be quite a successful tour.
Very successful! I don't know anyone who hasn't heard of and/or loves West Side Story.

Both the revivals of HAIR and West Side Story announced tours for the Fall of 2010. Guys and Dolls did as well. But we all know that wont happen.

It's scheduled to have a stop in San Francisco in the fall. Updated On: 12/30/09 at 02:30 PM
I feel that Guy and Dolls will do well on Tour maybe better than in NYC. But either way I think all 3 will be very successful. Hair might be harder to sell but WSS will be a hit.

The tour is happening and will be officially announced in January when many Broadway Across America companies announce their seasons.
Rumor has it, however, that the Spanish will be turned back into English.
I thought the Spanish was already back to English?
No. Pieces of I FEEL PRETTY and A BOY LIKE THAT were reverted back. The dialogue was not.
They'd be smart to keep the Spanish for their South FL stop of the tour. It'd go over very well down here.
Arthur is directing the tour, I would assume. No?
And a London production can't be far off. No?
Ka-ching, Ka-ching.
P
Yep. Arthur is certainly directing the tour. Unless they get someone to reproduce his staging, I am sure he will be directing.
