West End Wi-Fi Hotspots.

Anyone know any places where wi-fi connection is free in the West End area of London?
I mean like in cafes, restaurants, pubs?

Wetherspoons pubs these days have free wifi, and if you have an iPhone then you can get free coverage from The Cloud.

Are you making your bimonthly return from Barcelona? If so it's time for a BWW gathering at the pub (you're buying, of course.)

I'm actually working on making a return this coming Wednesday, not sure yet but will confirm over the weekend.

Oh, there's also the Soviet looking coffee place near the Donmar. Foyle's has wifi up in Ray's, Breakfast Club in Soho, Cafe Libre on Great Portland, and the Apostrophe chain (thickest hot chocolate in London?)

Starbucks has free wi-fi.

However make sure you have a web-based email account as after the third time, you will need to register your account by email.

Good to do over a Latte.

MCDONALDS!! My friend sent her UCAS in there on my laptop on the deadline day.

Also PRET near Leicester Square! I bought a bottle of water and sat in there from 10AM-2PM while my friend was at her Mountview audition. I found a plug for my laptop and Wolla! Sorted!

We went to see 39 steps at 3pm. Personally I would probably have enjoyed it more staying at Pret.

You have to set up a accout with Starbucks, when I used this in New York, I had to pay $5 for a card with a authorisation code on it, but the $5 what you payed for the card, goes onto the card, which you can redeem for;

The Duke OF Wellington pub by the stage door of The Queens Theatre has free Wi Fi as does the little cafe next door but I didn't know of any others.
