West End to Stay Closed till June 1

I suspect Broadway will follow their lead. I also notice that they're pushing the ability to get a credit or to exchange tickets which would definitely help shows preserve their advances. C'mon Broadway, do the same!

Honestly I can’t see west end or broadway opening in June July or August either. I can’t see that they would open up at the typically highest tourist season to open to a possible Petri dish for mixing and spread. I feel that they will extend these closures til September 26. Imo.

Hopefully two months is enough time to a few shows to dip their toes in and try to reopen in June. There's a bunch of shows that are now officially closed, or their remaining performances postponed, because of the extended suspension. The fact of the matter is this virus is now a part of our lives so in absence of a vaccine (anti-vaxxers notwithstanding) a few brave producers are going to have to lead the way to reopening.
