$8.75 per ticket and $3.15 per order are additional. (Full
price tickets are subject to the same fees.)
I imagine WSS will start popping up at TKTS in the Fall and spring.
With all the extra fees, the tickets will end up being close to the normal full price. Ridiculous.
ha that is very true, but figured I'd share anyway
Thanks for sharing, though. The attendance has been decreasing a little bit, but is still making over a million every week.
Yes, the fees bring up the cost....but the full price has the same fees associated....so you are still saving the same exact amount!
Is that one you can bring to the box office as well...if you are local (or at least come to the city often) you will save those fees.
This was on the TravelZoo VIP mailing (sign up - there are often Broadway and off-Broadway deals), and I was tempted to bite. I missed Olivo in June, and I'm still very disappointed, since it seems most people say she was the only good thing about the production (and the Tony voters seemed to agree). I did find the show enjoyable. But you always want to know what you missed...
(I should be thankful that I missed her because she had laryngitis and not a personal day. And that Nejat was on!)
So, I was weighing whether to try again just to see Olivo, but knowing my luck, she'd be out again (along with, inevitably, others). And if she were in, I'd probably be underwhelmed. Sigh.
Despite all the drama going on with the cast, I honestly didn't think discounts would be available until after a year (it is, after all, West Side Story). I wonder if the general public is now catching on to the absences and staging issues.
Maybe...
As much as I love WSS, I feel like it was only doing so hot was because it was well, West Side Story.
I feel once everyone who wants to see it, sees it, people will realize how the revival is not good and start telling people not to see it.
(If that makes sense)
They should be offering better discounts considering that patrons entering the theater rarely see the full cast...totally ridiculous.
Yeah. The next time I see it, I will just tell myself I will not be seeing Karen, so I don't get upset.

yea seriously thats ridiculously
I wanna see the show and have a good seat, but I don't wanna pay that much to find out when I sit down, Tony, Maria, and Anita are all out.
$120 ain't cheap!
There must be something in the at the Palace, whenever you see see a show there you never see the full cast
LEGALLY BLONDE *COUGH COUGH*
