I know some of you will have seen both.  I have one slot in my theater schedule left to fill and I know  these productions are completely different if you had to pick one to see what would it be?

I’ve seen both.

I liked WSS story a lot, but if I could only see one, I’d go with The Jungle.

The Jungle, hands down.

Not gonna lie, read this as WSS playing at St. Ann's which has me thinking:  would the current WSS revival receive better reception from the theatre community if it played St. Ann's instead of Bwy?  I almost wonder if framing it as a smaller production at an experimental venue would have made audiences more receptive.

Definitely West Side.

without a moment's hesitation, The Jungle.

Merits aside, you have had and will continue to have various exposures to WSS; by comparison, attending The Jungle offers a singular experience.

On the merits, while of course no one can judge a production that has yet to commence performing, the things we do know already about this particular iteration suggest relatively little risk in taking a pass.

TBH, this is such an easy call that i feel like Eddie3 owes the rest of us more words ... :)
