I'm pretty sure we all have them. A show that you shouldn't like, but love. A show that you know has problems, but like it anyway. What's yours? Could be for any reasons
Mine is Rock Of Ages. By all accounts, this should be the type of musical I don't like. Obviously a jukebox and phoning in a plot based on pre-existing material. But there's something about the self-referencing nature and some of the side characters that I can't help but enjoy when I see it. It also doesn't hurt that the music is one of my favorite genres.
Mary Poppins. I saw it in London and then New York and later a touring company in the UK. I just love the big production numbers - especially Anything Can Happen!
Bring it On is amazing, but there was no audience for it. As far as guilty pleasures, I have to admit that I liked Sister Act and The Great American Trailer Park Musical

Not that these shows are "guilty pleasures" to me, but apparently I am not allowed to like them...

I may be in a very select group but I loved sections of Which Witch...
And still live in hope of a revival of the Moby Dick that Cameron Mackintosh produced prior to that, also at The Piccadilly.. I had such a fun eve in the theatre watching that, but unfortunately it was it's final show.
