Traditionally I am very Man in Chair, with some Elphaba and Cassie from A Chorus Line thrown in.
Personality wise, I am TOTALLY Lorelei Gilmore (I know, TV Character)
Right now, my life is seriously echoing Robert (or Bobby, take your pick) in Company...like scarily so.

Dolly Gallagher Levi: her love of life is infectious.

Amy from Company, because I am that neurotic and I do speak that fast! (if not faster)
Moritz in Spring Awakening. I go to an incredibly competitive school and I completely understood the stress that he was under.
My music teacher has told me more than once that I "was" Diana from A Chorus Line.
And...Elphaba. I've been in situations before where I was surrounded only by people who hated me. And I think that everyone can relate to her at some point in their lives- no one fits in one hundred percent of the time.

Albin from La Cage Aux Folles. That show is one of my absolute favorites and I love that character because I am him and who I am.
Also Dolly Gallagher Levi, Mame, the Madwomen of Dear World, and a little bit Mack Sennett (But I will TOTALLY send roses).
But definatly the Man in Chair. I was born in the days of the tape and CD, and I don't even have a record player, but I totally have the Lp's of The Grand Tour and Milk and Honey. Two Jerry Herman shows hardly anyone remembers.
There are so many characters. I relate to Rod too. I'm not gay, but the fact that he is very defensive about things and he loves Hugh Jackman. I even relate to Glinda. I don't know why but people say I do. :)
Robert Martin from Drowsy.
I make big mistakes sometimes and need to fix 'em.

I haven't seen "Wicked," but from what I know about the character and the show, I can relate to Nesserose in the sense that I know what it is like to have a disablity, though our disabities are different.

Off this topic, but so sorry I offended you with the "BSword". Was just hoping for someone's thoughts that is really into Dolly Levi! Sorry again

Brick in Cat on a Hot Tim Roof. He's the strong, silent type on the outside, but seething with self-doubt and secrets on the inside, brooding (esp. over an ideal love that nothing can replace and no one can understand). And when pushed, he can lash out when least expected. (I know you're all dying to meet me now! hehe)
For current shows, none pop to mind...maybe a little Bobby from Company and Hansen from AS.
Maureen from RENT. ::POINTS TO SELF:: THIS dive needs her stage!
Fred Graham- in fact in watching the dvd with my mom and girlfriend they both just slowly turned and went "of course you like this show... he IS you!"
100% The Man in Chair! We even have the same hand gestures!
I relate to Eponine and Elphaba-I have that "I'm Not that Girl" syndrome: I always fall for someone I can't have. It doesn't help that, like Elphaba, I have a low opinion of my appearance.
I also share a special place with Little Edie-no, I'm not crazy-but I'm trying to keep from letting my mom drive me there. We're very similar and can get to each other sometimes. I also need to get out from mom's clutches. (Live at home. Bad idea!)
Jo March hands down, however I do have a bit of Millie in me as well.

Eponine... i have guys who like me... but myu friend always takes them from me... that and Kate Monster... me and love dont mix well!
Lately I've been able to relate to:
Man in Chair- wanting to shut the world out, shut the lights off and enjoy soemthing alone (that no one understands)
"Little" Edie Beale- especially the whole aspect of her taking care of her mother, in other words taking care of others before herself
Kate Monster- feeling alone and the whole "I kinda pretty and pretty damn smart...so why don't I have a boyfriend..."
Louise/ Gypsy Rose Lee- in the aspect that everyone is looking past you and not recognizing your strengths or talents.
Man in Chair
Kate - When she sings, I Hate Men - - jk
Passionella
Marcy Park - Spelling Bee
Mark (RENT)
Rod (Avenue Q)
Bloom(The Producers)
and I know it isn't a Broadway character but...

Jo in Little Women and...
Elphaba in Wicked. (Like it or not, I think everyone can relate at least a little bit to that character.)
Audrey II
but only b/c I'm from outer space. Not b/c I'm a plant.
Tracy from Hairspray. What girl hasn't "heard the bells" when he crush touches/notices/talks to her? I also have a thing for Links (AKA Aaron and Ashley). :)
defyingravity11- it is true eric, you are freakishly identical to man in chair. (this is lindsey by the way)
