Rod in Avenue Q. Specifically, how he feels alone without that special someone while all his friends are running off getting married and moving away.
Logainne in Spelling Bee. I know what it's like to feel pressured to do your best, and the self-loathing that comes with failure when you don't live up to your own expectations.

Jamie in the Last 5 Years. It's scary sometimes how much that relationship parallels a similar one in my life.
Why is it that the lyrics to songs like 'If I Didn't Believe in You' can't pop into your head in the heat of the moment? It might seem a little weird to break into musical verse in real life, but MAN that song hits the nail on the head.

Man in chair.
Except for the cardigan, the shaby apt, and I'm more attracted to the bride, it's the story of my life. We're both obsessed with a 1920's musical (both coincidently staring Sutton Foster). Even down to the little details, I like tea, brandy, and I hate it when the phone rings. Oh and just one more difference, I like intermissions.
i feel like there are more that i'm not thinking of right now.. but seriously, cathy from the last five years. definitely!
Fraulein Kost, Cabaret.
Except that I'm not a sailor crazy whore.
"Yes, the brutalities of progress are called revolutions. When they are over, men recognize that the human race has been harshly treated but it has moved forward." - Les Miserables
^ Yay for Fraulein Kost! She's da bomb.
I suppose I relate most to Maureen, from RENT. While I'm not bisexual or living in N.Y.C., I'm often completely ridiculous, flirty, and attention-starved. I can't begin to tell you the number of people who have told me I remind them of her. That may not be a compliment.
gumbo2, you're wonderful! Thanks for making my day. And don't we all have a little Jerry in us?
Not exactly Broadway (not even off-Broadway), but Gracie from Flight of the Lawnchair Man/3hree. I'll love anyone familiar with the show.
Oh! Oh! I have the cast recording of "3hree." Do I win?
Edit: Aww, gumbo beat me to it. Well, I still have the cast recording.

I think I relate most to Elle in Legally Blonde, Galinda in Wicked, and Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors. Yes, they're all blondes(like me), and there's more to them that meets the eye. I think I'm most like Elle, because, like her, I'm smart but people don't take me seriously because of my hair color and the way I talk/dress, but there some Galinda in there too, but I'm more like her at the end of the musical. And I'm a little Audrey because I know what it's like to be treaten like dirt by guys. I suppose you could throw a little bit of Ariel from The Little Mermaid in there too, because my father can be protective and I always want to explore the world outside my ocean(in this case....a really small town!)
