Logan, thank you, but it's true, if a tad Appalachian. My kids are stepchildren and were born when I was a teenager. But now the grandkids are headed for middle school and I'm counting down to 60.

Alright, I so don't think we need another revival of this play, but Anika Noni Rose is reason enough for me to see it. Every time I read the play I read Beneatha's lines imagining Anika Noni Rose's voice, so this is just perfect casting IMO.

Thrilled she's coming back to Broadway! I was always hoping that had the Ragtime revival ran long enough for a replacement cast, Anika would play Sarah.

Got to see Anika last week in the reading of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s “Hamilton Mixtape” at Vassar. She played Hamilton’s sister-in-law, Angelica Schuyler, and was excellent. It was a joy to see her and, if “Hamilton” continues on a path to Broadway, I hope to see her continue in this role.
