two quick observations: 1. In my experience (not as an usher or a drunk but as someone who has sat in my fair share of audiences over the years), most disruptive/abusive/etc drunks arrive at the theatre in that condition and the presence of alcoholic concessions hardly makes a dent. 2. The percentage of people everywhere who are significantly more insane than they were 4 years ago is high. It's not just the ones on the street and in the subway who are doing their horror movie version of Elwood P. Dowd; seemingly normal people, including the ones who can afford to pay exorbitant prices for Broadway tickets, have gone bonkers.
