What Should I see
#0What Should I see

My boyfriend and I are heading to NYC December 18-20th.
I've sort of lost touch with the Musical Theatre scene since last year...but I definitely know my stuff.
He's sort of clueless about theatre...all that he knows is stuff I've been in and he's seen.
I'm looking for a show that both of us will enjoy and will be somewhat new.
So far Avenue Q is leading the way with Company shortly behind...I dunno if he'd like A Chorus Line..
Plus a Brian Lowdermilk show "Henry and Mudge" is opening the day we arrive....hmmm
I got to see opening night of Company in Cincy...and I'd love to see it again, but I have no clue if it would be over his head being that he's a novice with theatre...
Any help would be appreciated...I'm sorta stuck on choices..
Thanks in advance!
Sorry for rambling :P

Avenue Q is a MUST.
I'd also say Spelling Bee...

I definitely love the OBC from what I've seen
Is there anything worthwhile in the new season?

Shoot!
I forgot about Spelling Bee...
Barret Foa and Celia will still be on right?

Posted: 9/14/06 at 8:23pmBarrett will be there. Celia will be in Les Mis, which you could also see. But I would go with Avenue Q or Spelling Bee. Avenue Q is just so funny, so touching, and so cute. Have fun!

I don't think Celia will be in it.
Barrett maybe. His contract ends in Oct (hopefully he'll extend)

Better?
Not a fan of Les Mis...don't think he'll be either...

Yup
See Spelling Bee and Q. You will NOT be disappointed. At all.

^ ^
I was sorta going to suggest that one (of course, Avenue Q and Spelling Bee first) but, as much as I enjoy it, it just may not be there...
