Okay so my friends and i really wanna see a show. I have seen Hairspray but that is still a thought. The shows we are looking at are Hairspray, Little Women and Beauty and the Beast. Ive heard that Belle is horrible in B&B. I heard alittle of the music from Little Women and iam not that excited about it but i have seen Hairspray and i liked it so i think they will too but if someone thinks that the others may be better or another show altogether let me know. Also has anyone seen Good Vibrations!?!? I want to see it but i havent really heard anything on here about it.

I know!!! but its hard to see something new when iam going with a group that really just does not enjoy broadway for the unique individual shows that they all have to offer. I mean i could never drag them to many shows. i have a LIST of shows i wanna see with noone to go with
haha
If you don't mind a corny storyline, and are just looking for some fun, "Good Vibrations" is a great choice. It isn't deep, just light Beach Boys songs with a story interweaved. If you're going for something profound, Lincoln Center's musical "Dessa Rose" is amazing. "Little Women" was OK, Sutton was the only great thing about it. The music was fine, but the show lagged a bit at times. So, there we go.

Belle (Brooke Tansley) is wonderful! If youve already seen Hairspray and dont see shows often, see something new.

Go see Good Vibrations. It's a ton of fun and the cast is one of the most talented on Broadway right now. And right now, it could really use more pre-sales to stay open at least long enough to get a recording. It's a great show, despite what some reviewers are saying. Definitely a better night at the theatre than Little Women (which was great, but thoroughly depressing).

GO TO LITTLE WOMEN OR DESSA ROSE. if you really want one of the three you said give little women a shot. i think you'll actually really like it. otherwise venture for the real theatre and go to dessa.
I reccommend LITTLE WOMEN.
Maybe your friends are relatively familiar with the story line, so they would enjoy it. The book is a classic, and it's a great Broadway show too. I would go see Little Women, because right now they have a stunning cast you and your friends should see.

Trust me dear, you really don't have to be into Elvis or Broadway to enjoy the wonders of Cheyenne. Go see ASU. I think you would like it.
La Cage is also a fantastic show. It is visually stunning, and it is also another show that doesn't require you to be a theatre fan.
Also, I would say Little Women. Sutton Foster is so lovable.
And, depending on when you want to see a show, I also suggest Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. The cast is simply stellar.
By the way, Brooke is a fantastic Belle.
Little Women also gets my vote. I saw it in previews and then brought some friends (who don't like the theatre) to see it and they all loved it. Plus, if you're students there's $30 rush seats.

Must you ask?!?! Avenue Q is awesomely the best ever!! If you haven't seen that and ur friends like a bit off the top Broadway-go see that definitley. I saw Hairspray on Wednesday and I totally recommend it but not if you've already seen it.
Certainly see AVENUE Q -- there's a good reason why it won the Tony and is an audience favourite. You should see it soon, too, while most of the original cast is still with the show.
I too would definitely recommend Q if you haven't seen it, though tickets may be a tad difficult to get.
Also, depending on your age, if you've never seen Rent, I have to recommend that also, it's just a timeless show, no matter how long it's been running or the cast.
Also, again just not having any idea what else you've seen, if you all have never seen Phantom, it's just a classic Broadway experience in my opinion. Lately, it's been difficult to get tickets to though.
Fiddler's pretty enjoyable too, just a great story.
But of the ones you mentioned, and I agree you shouldn't see Hairspray again(then again I'm not as huge a fan as everyone else) then I too would say go with Little Women, it's a cute story that I found to be pretty enjoyable and your friends would probably like it.
i recommend q or la cage.

if you have not seen THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, why would you consider seeing anything else???
