The Last Five Years
Zanna Don't
Both shows should have run for years.
They did not fail but they did not run long enough.
Both were wonderful and overlooked.
I loved the music in both.
The writer of Zanna is one of the sweetest men I have ever met.
And the cutest.

Posted: 10/8/04 at 7:41pmI totally forgot about Zanna, Don't! This is one amazing show (especially with Jai as Zanna). It's too bad it didn't run for that long.

Thanks Margo, I didn't realize Urinetown was a success, financially.
I guess since it didn't win the Tony...well, I assumed. My bad.
Was ShowBoat considered successful (the one at the Gershwin a few years ago)?
I did see Steel Pier. I liked it.
