Idiot. He clearly misses the point of what theatre is. It's a dialogue.

If he doesn't like the other side of the communication process, why doesn't he just do some acting in his living room. Surely nobody will want to disturb him there.

Equity should hear about his one.

Could be, but the fact he left the stage and flew thru the pass door says a lot already.

This is very irrational behaviour and the producers would be well advised to allow the actor, Ian Hart, a period of time to rest and reflect on his actions. Glamourous though it is perceived, making film and TV and appearing 8 times a week can be very stressful, early mornings, long days, late nights, and this can easily catch up and take its toll.

The actor's focus should be entirely within the drama and the world of the play and not constantly breaking the fourth wall and taking note of a specific audience member.

I would imagine that this is a very scary situation for all concerned not just audience members but for Mr. Hart's fellow performers.
