i'm bumping this thread because i want an apology. tuttle, it was out of line to call me "clueless" as i think i have demonstraited in my two years here that i am not, in fact, a moron. all i said was that it was a good year for shows, and that the broadcast was mediocore but not the worst ever. that makes me an idiot? there are a lot of people here you can make fun of for ignorance, but i wouldn't include myself amoung them. so please tell me what drove your comment? thaaaanks....

feinstein, at least you weren't called an a**hole, as I was for expressing an opinion about the Tonys.

wow! i'm so sorry martin, that's... completely uncalled for. we need a "it's okay to have opinions" seminar or something. sometimes this board is *so* middle school. (ie cliques and namecalling)

That sucks.
Feinstein, I say we start a thread with an oath that people are agreein' to, lol - to be open minded or at the very least, agree to disagree and retain some basic respect for one another. All of this juvenile, petty bickering is giving BWW and by extension theatre people a bad name.

If I show you the darkness I hold inside, will you bring me to light?

here, here my krispy creme! this is a swell idea. and yet, sad that it even has to be discussed, yeah? i do love arguing but name-calling and insulting someone's intelligence is just so inappropriate. also, the heir of supiriority it gives off! even though aretha was terrible last night, we should still take her advice and yeild r-e-s-p-e-c-t.

Well, feinstein, perhaps if you actually read your posts you'll understand.
You blame the quality of the Tony show on the current theatrical season. As if the people who are listed above (producers, writers) have have nothing to do with what we actually saw on the show. The clips presented of production had nothing to do with Aretha's trainwreck or the ridiculous banter of the presenters. That's the issue.
And please, you might want to check your past posts before you go playing the innocent victim. Although we all love self glorification.
Glad you brought this thread back for a little more ego stroking.

Ignorance is temporary. Stupidity last forever.
Watch out BWW...
HE'S BACK.

Haha yes Krisp!
But I do love it when some members play the whole victim thing.
Save the drama for the stage, feinstein9.

Now if all this had been on the telly instead of "that" broadcast I think I might have been more entertained.

Sorry to say that Tuttle is just a typical unhappy queen with a penchance for putting people down. There is absolutely no excuse for the way he treats people on these boards. Unfortunately, I've met a million like him. He thinks he's extremely witty and fabulously bitchy and all he is, is common.
Just sorry that he's beating up on everyone else. I'm assuming that most of us here are professional performers or have degrees in theatre (or at the very least are theatre enthusiasts with a good understanding of what we are talking about). He is no better than anyone here and my guess is that he leads a very sad and lonely existence. Too bad, he actually seems quite smart.
