Oh, and how we soon forget.
Several months ago Larry King asked Liza if she would ever return to Broadway, and unfortunately, her answer was no. She said that personally she's too old to muster that 8 shows a week schedule, plus a committed long run. It's not something she's looking to get into anymore. She's already done it.
Films and television provide her with the flexible work schedule she wants, as well as her flexible concert tour schedule.

Posted: 2/10/07 at 10:28pmYeah, I was about to post that when you did. She'd be great in that part (or a number of others) on the basis of a handful of performances for an extemely limited run. After that, I don't think she'd have the interest or the stamina to sustain anything. And I'm sure she'd be the first to admit it.
