I just read that Cheyenne will be on vacation soon. What affect do you think it will have on the box office?
What affect will Cheyenne's vacation have on ASU?

I don't think it will affect the Box Office AT ALL.. people seeing ASU aren't going to see Cheyenne Jackson, they are going to see a big musical, or the Elvis music..
Not that Cheyenne Jackson isn't amazing in the role, I just dont think people are flocking to see him..

Other than us, no one really knows who he is. They probably won't even notice that the guy on the billboard sin't infornt of them.

Going the 10th to see Trisha Jeffrey as Lorraine so I guess I'll miss Cheyenne but i'll still get to see trisha!

hopefully just enough for them to realize the show sucks and its just the actors keeping it afloat!

Cheyenne is great, but I don't think that most people who see the show will mind too much. Plus, he'll only be gone for like a week, right?

some people won't even realize until they see a billboard because All Shook Up takes people out of the playbill when they are on vacation

I really don't think it will have an effect. Cheyenne is not exactly a "star" (though I think he should be), and from what I've heard, his understudies are very good.

Trisha wa sin tonight, and she was excellent, I really enjoyed her Lorraine. Virginia will go on as Sylvia tomorrow and Sunday, this will be her first time doing the role, she is leaving the cast sunday,I'm excited ot see her do Sylvia. As for Cheyenne, I agree that his absence won't hurt ticket sales noticably, although I prefer obviously to see the show with him in it.

I have tickets for during his vacation, do you think they would let me exchange tickets for a future show or offer a refund since the lead is out? He was one of the main reasons I was going.

luvthemcee I LOVE your icon! though we know how i love cheyenne my friend just saw the show last wed. at the matinee and his understudy Brad Anderson went on and she loved him. So im happy that he will get a run at the role, whoever goes please post a review so we can hear about how Brad does.

batchels~ the rule for bway is if the actors name is above the title you can exchange the ticket for a later date, but no ones name is above the title at ASU so that rule wont apply.. I mean you can still call the box office and ask, but it does say no excahnge or refund when you but the ticket so don't be upset if they don't let you.. eveyone in the cast is great and then all do a wonderful job in whatever role they are playin!

I saw Brad, I *think* at Bryant Park. He sounded a bit like Cheyenne, I guess, but nobody's going to have that charisma like he does.

Jackson is hardly a ticket seller. Besides the Broadway community, the general population hasn't a clue who he is.

And I doubt even half the Boradway community knows who he is. I agree it won't have any effect on the Box Office. He isn't a big star. Hell, he isn't even the orginal choice for the role!

What does that say about Broadway when he's touted as the next big thing but even many in the community don't know him?
