Hi!

I was debating  if i can get rush tickets for a show which would save me considerable money. Only issue is i can only arrive when the box office opens 10 AM. What are my chances of getting any rush tickets for either les miserables or a gentlemans guide? and which of the two has a better shot? Thanks!

What day are you planing on trying it? If its a weekend date, the odds aren't great. There are always less people in line on weekdays. Though since it is in the height of Tony season, its possible the lines at the shows you mentioned wont be quite as bad since everyone will be trying for this years winners/nominees. I dont see one show having better odds honestly.

If saving money is important, I'd say go for it. At best you get the discounted ticket. At worst you can then buy the cheapest full priced ticket they have, or check if its at the TKTS booth. They also both have discount codes on BroadwayBox if rush doesnt work out for you.

Recently it seems that Les Mis rush has been more difficult, especially on weekends,  but really it's just a crapshoot. Both shows rushes are typically very popular, but you never know when you may pick that perfect day when no one shows up. If your dates are flexible, or you can go on a spur of the moment, I'd say wait for a day with bad weather. People hate standing outside in the rain, so odds are there will be far fewer than normal.
