Out of curiosity, what's everyone doing now as far as plays and musicals go?
At the moment I'm Miss Jones in H2$ during the week and Charity during the weekend.

Posted: 10/18/05 at 7:57pmWell, not quite what you meant... as an actor I'm not working on anything right now but as a playwright I've got a couple of projects going including one taking place during a baseball game that's tentatively titled 'A Perfect Night for a Game.' I'm also very busy admiring the cash prize I won for my first play. Oh la la.

I'm doing some songs in a review, although as I'm not a musical theater singer and was expecting it to be an opera workshop, it's been quite an experience.
I'm also playing Shylock in a Merchant of Venice project. (I'm short, blonde, and female - what fun!)

Posted: 10/18/05 at 9:05pmI just joined a theatre company doing A Christmas Carol. My first rehearsal is this Thursday, but as the show has mostly been cast already, I'm mostly working backstage for this one.

Posted: 10/18/05 at 9:27pmOh I am, but we have been running for a long time, my voice is TIRED and I leave on Monday to see my boyfriend who is doing the Hawaian tour of ACL. So when I think about lying on the beaches of Maui or belting A's, I can't wait for it to be over.

Posted: 10/18/05 at 9:57pmI'm in rehearsals right now for "Night of January 16th" at my college. I am playing Nancy Lee Faulkner. It is such an interesting play! And after that I will hopefully be helping backstage on their production of "Cabaret".

Approaching tech week for the musical "The Secret Garden" at the local university in my town.
I am playing the role of Collin in the show and loving every minute of it.

"Moby Dick: The Musical" lol, i play Ishmael. have any of you heard of it? it's about this girls school that puts on a musical about Moby Dick. it's pretty fun.lol
i'm also preparing my audition for "My Fair Lady" in january. i'm going for Eliza. hehe

Moby Dick: the musical! I have a dear friend who did the original production in London. She had tons of crazy fun stories to share.
I'm prepping to restage "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" in San Diego. I also play Papa Who. Good times.
