So, CATS, do we have a date in Chautauqua to catch Mowgli in action? It does sound very you!

Cinderella I can understand. Jungle Book is pushing it a little, but ok. 101 Dalmations? WTF?
those are three DVD's missing in my Disney collection
All those children in white skivvies with black felt spots sewn onto them...
I shudder to think
I've always wanted to see Cinderella as a full stage show. *sigh*...I had that book taken from me as a child...I read it too much.
It was those little uniforms you whipped up for the mice...
What do they have in common...um...they all have god-awful sequels?

Those are 45 minute - 1 hour shows for children.
aladdin jr. is on there too.
aladdin I understand. aladdin I'd like to see although I don't understand why they didn't incorperate "Proud of Your Boy" with the new songs...

I saw these shows at the MTI junior theatre festival plus one of my friends was in the original workshop of Aladdin and another in the original workshop of Cinderella both for Disney and MTI...
They are very fun and creative shows with a lot of energy. Don't cut them short yet..
They're for kids..not adults to perform in...
"Proud of Your Boy" is a badass song. It's a shame they had to cut it from the film. I saw the special edition DVD, and they had the storyboard with Howard Ashman singing. You should've seen some of the non-musical scenes they cut though... bad to the point of hilarious.
i got sent a cd of mti's "disney collection"- i only ended upo listening to one track since i mistakenly assumed that the highlights from the "kids" shows would have adult singers (although the flamingly gay little boy singing friend like me was funny)
I know this is an old thread, but I remember they had to cut "Proud of Your Boy" from the film because they cut the character of the mother. To put it into the show, they'd have to create a new character.

I don't see what's wrong with the Cinderella we already have.
