The 4th latchbeam wasn't rotating properly which burnt out the motor on the 6th mechanical lightstand which in turn caused the cable retracting setpiece 4013 to get a false reading of how far the piece had already been retracted thus leaving it 2 feet from where it should be. Hope that helps.

It's always amazing what false information is sometimes given here. It was not set piece 4013, but set piece 4031. Please check your sources before posting false information.
