What happened to Justin Bohon?

So, in one of my random clicking adventures across the Internet Broadway Database, I happened across the page for performer Justin Bohon. His performance history struck me as very interesting. One of his earliest roles was in the Cameron Mackintosh-produced revival of Oklahoma! as Will Parker, which earned him a Drama Desk nomination for Best Featured Actor. Since then, he's done nothing but Ensemble and Understudy work. How did he go from being one of the leads in a show for which he was nominated for a major industry award to being back in the Chorus?

He's a casting director now.  At Binder.

In the shows he’s worked in the ensemble, he also worked with his husband, Stephen Oremus. Maybe they wanted to work side-by-side instead of opposite schedules/shows. But yes, he works in casting now.

The line between principal and ensemble is not what it used to be when principals were actors, the singers were in the "singing chorus", and the dancers were in the "dancing ensemble".

I think you can find a lot of people who go back and forth between principal and ensemble depending on the requirements of each show.
