Well, the pre-Broadway run made it to LA and Chicago...but from the beginning, the show was beset with problems. They were unable to get any A list cast for the show (except Loretta Devine in a supporting role but only in the LA run) and let's just say the direction and choreography were quite below Broadway caliber.
