You'll be fine, as long as it's not a "tourist vacation week." The show DOES sell out on weeks likes that.
But apparently someone on here was told by the BO that there is no rush? I am sure there is though.

Chicago
General Rush: $31.50 - tickets available at the box office only, when the box office opens. Limit 2 per customer. Not available for Saturday evenings. Subject to availability.
Standing Room: $26.50 - available at the box office, day of performance, only when the performance is sold out.

Posted: 4/26/09 at 1:55amI'm pretty sure they only sell it when they open or shortly after. They then send those seats to TKTS if they aren't sold for rush price early in the morning.
