What is Mean Girls stage door like?

Hello! I am seeing Mean Girls the Musical on Wednesday (Halloween) and I am worried that it will be packed. Any tips/advice?

1) Not everyone from mean girls stage doors, you will be lucky if you get mabye one principal.

2) Its halloween, no one will probably stage door.

3) The mean girls stage door is crazy.

4) Don't ever leave before a curtain call or before the cast is done giving speeches, it is very disrecpetful

I went two weeks ago, and we waited for around 20 minutes then they made an announcement that no one was coming out. So I wouldn't stress about the stage door since they might not even come out.

Like I said in the other thread, when I went only 2-3 ensemble members came out, and then they made an announcement no one else was coming out. Given that its halloween, I doubt anyone would state door.

When I went two weeks ago (it was a matinee so I was expecting pretty much no one) Jennifer Simard, Grey Henson, Nikhil Saboo, and Brendon Stimson were the only ones who came out. Everyone was super nice though and there were not a lot of people there at all.

Can you blame them for not coming out? That fandom treats the cast like garbage, and acts super inappropriately. They may be mostly teens, but that doesn't absolve them of the responsibility to behave themselves. Stage door is a privilege, and clearly that cast has seen fit to steer clear of it. And I applaud them for it.

THIS. The way I saw them treat the people who did come out to sign, when they reliazed no principals were coming out put a bad taste in my mouth.

I totally get it- some "fans" are crazy. So sad some people had to ruin it. I would be scared too lol

If your main goal is to just stage door, don't waste your money. When I went, no one came out.

thought I would update!

 

The people that came out was Kyle, Grey, Cheech, Erika, Taylor, Jennifer, Kevin, and maybe more... I can't remember LOL. Also- it was PACKED but they all took their time with everyone- especially Grey and Kyle :)

The teenager broadway fans are out of control and their rich parents are just as much to blame for funding their kids terrible behavior.

I scroll through cast instagram sometimes to read what the teenagers comment and I feel terrible for them.  Same with the Be More Chill cast.

You couldn't FORCE ME out of that stage door if I was Barrett.

Give those kids some weed and get them to treat the actors like HUMANS.  Right now, I'm convinced that the teenager fans think that the actors are almost zoo animals that are meant to be ogled and harassed.

i did 9 months in Afghanistan, and id rather go back there for a day than experience the MG stage door.

I'm STILL not over the pre-teen girl who was seeing Spongebob over and over again, filming the show on instagram live, harassing the cast to the point where the cast had a MEETING ABOUT HOW TO DEAL WITH HER, hiring cars to follow Ethan Slater home, and generally being so out control that the cast had to contact the dean of her school to try to stop her!!  NOR am I over the Be More Chill SOCIOPATHS who were sending threatening texts to a cast members girlfriend.

Who are the parents who let these kids act this way?  Not to take the blame off the kids (because the kids need to be held accountable) but it's BAFFLING to me that there are so many kids who have access to the money/means to act this way.

YES!! Some teen fans are crazy (I'm a teen lol). Also, the cast was EXTREMELY nice and Erika made the stage door security guy take pictures for her which made me laugh lol. But some fans literally are so loud and talk FOREVER. I usually just do the same thing each time which is "Thank you so much for coming out, I really apperciate it and you were amazing!!" and then say something about their role or roles they've played. Also- I mentioned to Kyle about Book of Mormon and he genuinely seemed interested in what I had to say and kept asking me questions and continuing the convo which I thought was so awesome! He took his time which was so kind- yet shocking considering the crazy fans lol. Great experience with the people, besides the one girl pushing me to my right haha.

I’m not sure where to put this, so I’m putting it here. Apparently the teens are at it again, and are asking lesser known members of mean girls for the principals autographs. Meaning they are sending them fan mail asking for them to send them autographs of the principals. Kinda dissaponting to hear.

a couple of them posted on their instagram stories kindly asking fans to stop doing it, becuase its hurting their feelings.
