Posted: 8/9/04 at 3:46pmEric - I just figured that if you really only felt they were puppet shows, you didn't have the background to understand why they aren't - no matter how much explaining is done.

Posted: 8/9/04 at 3:48pmIt is kind of humorous, in a sick way, that this thread magically turned into another Wicked vs. Avenue Q argument. Hopefully by November or so we'll have other shows to argue about.

And it's always those bitter Wicked fanatics who do it, too. Get over it, people!
I bet if Caroline or Change had won the Tony, they'd be all over that show like termites.

Posted: 8/9/04 at 3:52pmBlueWizard- If Wicked wouldve won, you'd be all over it saying AVENUE Q DESERVED TO WIN!. So, whats wrong with Wicked fans expressing their opinions?

Too Funny, Plum.
DGrant, thank you. Once again I've been flamed for having the audacity to have an opinion.

Posted: 8/9/04 at 3:55pmFrankly, I was surprised (and delighted!) that Avenue Q won. I think I would have said, "Avenue Q deserved to win!" once, and that would've been it. I wouldn't have dragged it into every thread that is about Wicked. Frankly, this rivalry is getting tired.

Posted: 8/9/04 at 4:32pmNo, I think that the delightful AveQ is one of those babies who always likes to have the last word. So let him. Or her. Or it. Whatever.

Probably lol. I know I was one of the ones who started the arguement on this thread, but thats ok lol. There will always be competition between shows. If there wasn't, what would be the point? Just lighten up a little, BlueWizard
