Galinda: Elphie, now that we're friends I've decided to make you my new project.
Elphaba: You really don't have to do that.
Galinda: I know. That's what makes me so nice.

This actually makes my mom laugh every time she hears it. And she hates it when I play my Wicked CD over and over.

I love the one dididda used from Aida.

Not my favorite per se, but I'm listening to Cabaret right now (naturally) and this one just came on. I love the whole scene this comes from, but these few lines are really cute:
Cliff: "Have you ever had a whim?"
Sally: "Constantly! I used to love pretending I was someone else - someone mysterious and fascinating - until one day I grew up and realized I *was* mysterious and fascinating!"

A work of art is an invitation to love.

Broadwaynut- I too saw Hairspray in Boston and they made a bunch of Boston cracks the audience loved. At one point Bruce goes "He's been doing this sinse the big dig." and the audience love it.

This has already been said but..
Fiyero: Listen, I've been thinking
Elphaba: Yes I've heard

There was one from Hairspray which I don't remember it exactly but it was something on the lines of "If little girls didn't make mistakes there owuld be no more little girls."

"I gave you my music"........-The Phantom from the Phantom Of The Opera

I love the sad and desperate way he delivers that line...it is soooo endearing!

There is a curious paradox that no one can explain; Who understands the secret of the reaping of the grain, Who understands why spring is born out of winter's laboring pain, Or why we all must die a bit before we grow again. -from "The Fantasticks"

"Never put your own money into a show. That's taboo." - Nathan Lane in "The Producers"

I laughed so hard when I read in the newspaper that Nathan Lane said that during opening night of his return to the show!!

My favorite quote from a song is, "Because I knew you, I have been changed for the better." - Wicked

"Hold your head up high!"- Honk! "The Phantom of the Opera is there inside my mind." - Phantom of the Opera "Never put your own money into a show...that's TABOO!" - Nathan Lane in The Producers

From Thoroughly Modern Millie:

"I'm fast" Millie
"I can see that" Ms Flanagan
"I meant as a typist" Millie
"I didn't" Ms Flanagan

You just have to see it, with the hand motions and all.
