What musicals did not receive any Tony nominations in past years?

69th Tonys: Doctor Zhivago, Finding Neverland, Holler If Ya Hear Me, Honeymoon in Vegas, It Shoulda Been You, Side Show

68th Tonys: Big Fish, First Date, Soul Doctor

I can't find anything resembling a definitive list beyond the past two years. Can someone help me out? I'd like to go all the way back to the 54th Tonys season (2000) at least.

I have researched, which is why I said so. I can't find any sites that even mention snubbed shows, just list after list of nominees and winners.

I would start by researching shows that opened in a particular season.   Then compare that list to the Tony nominations for that season.   This method would identify those shows not receiving a nomination.

None of those shows were snubbed. They all received the proper amount of acclaim based on people seeing them and not liking them.

There probably isn't an annual list of shows that didn't receive nominations. Though I know one or more of the Bway news site will often do a post about shows that weren't nominated, you can look into those if you want. If not, I know BWW's Tony Nominee announcement posts usually compile a list of nominated shows by how many they received.

if you want you can cross-reference that list with the list of shows from each season, which you can find here:

By process of elimination, you can make a list of the shows that weren't nominated.

This one from 2013 highlights Macbeth, Harvey, Panic, Enemy of the people, Grace, Dead Accounts, Jekyll & Hyde and Cat on a hot tin roof as snubs

To help the original poster out a bit:

 

IBDB -- allows you to search for musicals by year: http://ibdb.com/advSearchShows.php

TonyAwards.Com -- allows you to search nominees by year: http://www.tonyawards.com/en_US/history/pastwinners/index.html

 

Then all you have to do is compare and contrast the lists.

Thank you, JBroadway, that Playbill link is exactly what I needed! I've mainly just been trying to find lists of shows that opened each season to compare with nomination lists, but I couldn't find anywhere that listed them.

And haterobics, **** you, it was pretty clear I meant "snubbed" as "not nominated" - great job living up to your chosen username, I guess.

You couldn't have researched too hard.  I found the Playbill link simply by searching: broadway by season.

OK, but snubbed actually has a meaning, or used to... it literally used to, which I guess means it now figuratively used to.
