Planning another trip to NYC and I wanted opinions on what I should see when I'm there.
So far, I want to catch The Light in the Piazza, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and maybe Spamalot.
But I am there the whole week, so what else would you recommend.

Posted: 8/1/05 at 4:20pmThat's a tough one because there are a ton of good ones out there! I agree with Kevo711, that if you want to see SPAMALOT get the tickets asap! DRS, RENT, WICKED, SWEET CHARITY, LITP etc.... all good. I haven't seen drs, sc, or litp yet (or spam) but i hope to.

Posted: 8/1/05 at 4:23pmDON'T go see All Shook Up, it's a piece of crap and a waste of time and money. Also, why are you limiting yourself to musicals? Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf and Glengarry Glen Ross are both amazing. Doubt as well, but it's really hard to get tickets. There's also a whole slew of off B'way shows that are amazing.

Posted: 8/1/05 at 5:51pmI know this isn't a musical but I saw Glengarry the other night. It is a great show. Not to mention short so that was nice. If you are looking for some good off-broadway try Altar Boyz, Musical of Musicals or Joy(some music in it).

I highly recommend The Light in the Piazza, Spelling Bee, and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll pee your pants. I don't know how you plan on getting into Spamalot but bless your heart for trying.
All Shook Up-Cheyenne is great but the show...
