Planning another trip to NYC and I wanted opinions on what I should see when I'm there.

So far, I want to catch The Light in the Piazza, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and maybe Spamalot.

But I am there the whole week, so what else would you recommend.

first off.. you better get those spamalot tickets well in advance... what other shows have you seen and enjoyed... i for one would love to see Spelling Bee and heard that it is fantastic... if you havent seen RENT then that is pretty much a must see in my opinion.

I hear All Shook up is alot of fun...and Chitty if you're looking for a silly good time...

So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.~Office Space

That's a tough one because there are a ton of good ones out there! I agree with Kevo711, that if you want to see SPAMALOT get the tickets asap! DRS, RENT, WICKED, SWEET CHARITY, LITP etc.... all good. I haven't seen drs, sc, or litp yet (or spam) but i hope to.

you say i'm weird! look at everyone you're sitting with! and hey, those guys over there just threw napkins up in the air like they were on something! it's contajous! you can't help it!

DON'T go see All Shook Up, it's a piece of crap and a waste of time and money. Also, why are you limiting yourself to musicals? Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf and Glengarry Glen Ross are both amazing. Doubt as well, but it's really hard to get tickets. There's also a whole slew of off B'way shows that are amazing.

I know this isn't a musical but I saw Glengarry the other night. It is a great show. Not to mention short so that was nice. If you are looking for some good off-broadway try Altar Boyz, Musical of Musicals or Joy(some music in it).

Absolutely see RENT if you haven't already. Also The Light in the Piazza and Spelling Bee.

Piazza and Spelling Bee are both good. DRS is absolutely hilarious...and good luck trying for Spamalot.

Go off Broadway and see an incredible show - Orson's Shadow. Besides having a wonderful evening of theatre, you'll save a few bucks!

I highly recommend The Light in the Piazza, Spelling Bee, and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll pee your pants. I don't know how you plan on getting into Spamalot but bless your heart for trying.

All Shook Up-Cheyenne is great but the show...
