Is she just sitting around New York City, cause that is an uber loss to the city to not have this amazing talent in anything! Any chance she will cover for Daphne when her planned vacation is from Les Miz..or that she will do evenings at Joe's or anything. Just wondering if anyone had heard!
that would be incredible if she were to come back as Fantine, I doubt it will happen but its something great to think about!

thanks Lizzie!! You made my day :)
I was hoping she could do more shows on Broadway since she's there but obviously she's takin care of her 2 kids!
But I do wish (if she's completely back on form like her old days and not her Chicago London Velma days) she could try doing Cassie or Fantine!

Ruthie as CASSIE! Yes! That would be phenomenal casting - please can we start a petition for that!!!!
I'd love to see Ruthie Henshall as Cassie, she is one of my favorite triple threats; however, I believe at this point she is too much of a star and would throw off the balance of the line. In "One," Henshall would be the star the chorus is singing about, not a chorus girl.
I'd have loved to see her in the Reprise! concert of Sunday in the Park with George, but clearly they were going for younger actors. Hopefully we'll get a chance to see her on stage or at least in concert some time soon.
She is taking time off to relax while her husband Tim Hower is making his broadway debut in Rent as Roger.
i hope sooooooooo much that ruthie at some pint plays elphaba in london

Once again, folks on this board overestimate someone's stardom. She could walk down Broadway in broad daylight in relative anonymity. If someone from this board spotted her and asked for an autograph, passersby would ask "Who is that?".
Having said that, I think she would make a terrific Cassie.

- That would be a different situation in the Westend. Ruthie is VERY well known and well liked there. She's a star/celebrity for Westend audiences.

What does that have to do with New York?
