I saw it - did not care for it at all. It explores some resonant ideas and emotions, but the format is a very bland, contrived family drama, with cheesy direction.
And it pains me to say that, because this same playwright/director team did "Too Heavy For Your Pocket" a few years ago, which was one of my absolute favorite plays of that season. I've also seen other work from this director, and generally I think she does great work, but this seemed out of her wheelhouse.
I was really looking forward to this, but I found it to be a big "blah." For several days after the show I kept forgetting that I had even seen it.

They have been papering this one, so I imagine it’s not doing too well. I’m surprised because conceptually it sounds great. I will be seeing it later in the week.

This has been high on my list to see along with the show downstairs in the Black Box.

It was cute and well done. Nothing riveting. But to see this from a Black writer was cool. It reminded me of a Bess Wohl play.
