What to see for Dad and two teen girls?

Hello, Dolly! a good old fashioned musical. It's a great production of a classic.

The Off-Broadway production of Sweeney Todd is also wonderful.

See Waitress & Bandstand ...have you seen Wicked? If not see that instead of Bandstand!

What to see for Dad and two teen girls?

Of all the shows mentioned so far, I've seen all but Bandstand and War Paint with my nearly 16-year old daughter. The only one I don't necessarily recommend (nor would my daughter over most of the other options) is Anastasia. Not going to lie, I needed a cocktail to get through that one, and I'm not much of a drinker. Unless your girls have some sentimental connection to the movie, etc, I think the other suggestions are all far better. We were slightly bored.

Personal mutual favorites among your options were Come From Away and Groundhog Day in that order. We also loved Dolly (but I can see why not all teens would) and Sweeney. For a non musical I completely agree with The Play That Goes Wrong.

Forgot about Kinky Boots - if you are there before Aug 6, Brendan Urie from Panic! At the Disco will stlll be in it - in case your girls like his band that could be a plus - and it's a fun show.

Thanks for the continued recommendations. I also appreciate the honest post on Anastasia - as I would also likely need a drink to get through that one. Dad would still lean toward Come From Away and GHD but I need to get my girls' opinions.

We already seen Wicked and Kinky Boots. Also got into Hamilton (early) and liked recent shows - Color Purple, Fiddler, Bright Star, Pippen, Something Rotten, Beautiful, Fun Home, and Phantom.

Come From Away and/or The Play that Goes Wrong. I'm not sure rushing Come From Away is a good choice, as you'd need to get there fairly early. It is still selling pretty well.
