When does Mara Davi leave A Chorus Line

I know that Mara Davi is supposed to start Drowsy on July 31.

From what I have read from previous threads, most of the original cast members in A Chorus Line are leaving Sunday July 22.

If that is true, isnt that a very quick turnaround for Mara? I would think her deparature date is sooner. Anyway, I hope her departure date is later rather than sooner. It is always good to see her perform Maggie.

Is there anyone leaving before July 22?

Tony Yazbek already left, but the next wave goes out on the 22nd, including Mara. Mara starts rehearsals for Drowsy this week. So the turn around isn't so bad. She said at the stage door that she couldn't wait and that she's really excited.

I wish she'd never leave. Oh, well. I'll try to catch her in Drowsy...

I love her; she's amazing. Maggie is probably my least favorite character but Mara makes me love her more and more every time she sings, not to mention that she's one of the nicest people I have ever met.

Lets hope Drowsey doesn't close too soon! I think Mara is great in ACL I'm sure she'll rock Drowsey

I have to honestly say that if Drowsy does close by the end of the year that Mara should be the next Cassie(Charlotte extended through January). Although I would think they'd cast a more veteran dancer for the role, but I really think Mara would be an outstanding Cassie.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Mara has played Cassie before in a previous production, so I think she could handle it.

I think Mara would be a fantastice Cassie, but not in this production. I think she may come across as a bit young. Maybe they'll consider her for the upcoming tour.

She will be wonderful in Drowsy Chaperone. In fact, I don't think she'll have much of a problem working as much as she wants. She's incredibly talented...and very nice!
