When will Broadway reach Cuba?

Now that the borders are opening up and they are getting more western influence, when do you think Broadway shows will start plopping productions there? It certainly wouldn't be the first time a Broadway musical would play in a communist nation.

A production of Rent played there within the last couple of years, if I'm not mistaken.

I'd love to see Cubans exposed to some of the great work in the Americal musical theatre canon, as well as the great plays. It's such a wonderful art form that everybody should be able to appreciate.

I think first we have to wait and see what happens to those borders next year.
