I hate to add another thread, but I'm seeing YF on Saturday, 2pm, and was wondering if anyone knew when he'd be back? Is the 8th true?

And the other thing about the Phantom Lady was, Bert, she realized, in the city that never sleeps... What did she realize, Kitten? That all the songs she'd listened to, all the love songs, that they were only songs. What's wrong with that? Nothing, if you don't believe in them. But she did, you see. She believed in enchanted evenings, and she believed that a small cloud passed overhead and cried down on a flower bed, and she even believed there was breakfast to be had... Where? On Pluto. If he really is injured, and it's not a 3-show planned absence, I'm sure he's on day-to-day.

He wasn't in last night. His replacement was very good, though.

I thought the play was good, but not great - big Mel Brooks fan.

The average tourist going to see this show probably doesn't know Roger Bart from Adam. It's not like Nathan Lane calling out of THE PRODUCERS. The show was still at capacity all weekend and last night.

I saw it last Saturday matinee and the understudy was fine. I wasn't overly impressed with the show in general, but I don't think not seeing Bart makes too much difference.

It would make a difference to me. =)
As long as he heals and feels good to go and is back by January 10th.. I'm happy. But of course Bart's well-being is more important than him being in the show.

We were fated to be mated. We're Bialystock & Bloom!
