Where can I get a Playbill Binder?
Where can I get a Playbill Binder?#1

The Ultimate Playbill Binder. On playbillstore.com it is 29.95, but the shipping is 7 bucks + tax comes out to $40 something. I checked the Broadway NY Store on Shubert Alley and it's $35 but they don't sell the sleeves.
Where can I get it for a reasonable price and also sells the sleeves! I live in the city.
Thanks

They come with the sleeves on the inside.
There is no reason to buy extra sleeves, because only 18 sleeves (that come with the binder) fit into the binder. So that's all you need.

Also, if you don't mind spending a few more dollars, I recommend purchasing the binder from the BC/EFA store online, where a portion of the purchase is donated to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Posted: 1/4/08 at 2:03amI work at Broadway NY and Shubert Alley. We sell them with 18 sleeves because that's all that fits. But you can order extras on Playbill.com. Or you can get the ones with sliders that are cheaper and you won't have to worry about the sleeves. Those don't hold as many though.

Posted: 1/4/08 at 2:12amI have two that I've never been able to figure out. They came with these little metal rod things that were too small to fit the binder. Are those the sleeves? They were useless.

I just bought one of these from the Shubert Alley store last week. It's a great way to keep Playbills in good condition, and looks nice on the shelf, but I've found that I can't fit any more than 26 Playbills per book even though it's advertised in store as being able to fit 36. (18 sleeves at 2 per sleeve.)

Cape Twirl, did you get the one with the plastic sleeves or with the rod things? If you got the one with the plastic sleeves, how did you fit two playbill in each sleeve?
ETA: How did you fit that many with still being able to close the binder?

Hey someone bumped my thread! Just made my night.
BroadwayEnthusiast2, the playbillstore.com site says that 24 playbills are the recommended limit in the Ultimate Playbill Binders, that's why they sell additional sleeves, 6 a pack. It is possible to put two Playbills in one sleeve, they are big enough, but I just put them individually. It looks better, plus, I put the tickets in the back to see exactly when I went to that show.
They do indeed look great on a shelf.

The plastic sleeves. I just put one Playbill on either side of the cardboard insert. It fits 24 pretty comfortably.
