Gotta ask as I hate the high-up seats at the Golden...anybody?

they put me pretty high up in the back, i hafta say ... and they really weren't interested in helping me find a better seat.
(and mostly fair play to 'em ... though the gap between tdf priced and regular rear mezz prices for bway shows is getting narrower and narrower -- seems like we oughta at least have a shot at winning the lottery!!!)
that said (and parenthetical rant aside), i didn't have any problem with the sight lines for this particular performance -- my eyes are kind of messed up, too (i don't have stereo vision), so if sight lines are a problem i guarantee you i'll be one of the first people to say so.
now that big bag of marbles in alan rickman's mouth is another thing altogether ...
I was rear orchestra -- next to the last row. And yes, it was very difficult to hear in spots.
I was in rear mezzanine row C, but that was a Saturday evening performance, so I'd imagine the locations would be better during the week.
I was in row K of the orchestra last monday night

Last night (Mon 11/7), we ended up in roe F of the rear mezz, second to the last row. Mezz was full except for that last row. The sound was fine. My companion and I even commented on how well we could hear from way up there.
I was in row o in the orchestra. It was a Saturday night.
