re: Where to report illegal productions of '...'

I'd like to report that I'm about to perform, solo, the entire script of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels the Musical from my front porch. I'll be running an illegal lemonade stand too. - B.

I am about to go out for a drive and illegally sing Broadway songs in my car.

If it's a Tams Witmark show, be careful. I once directed an authorized production of Hello, Dolly and invited the 7th and 8th graders for free to a dress rehearsal and was fined $600 by Tams for "inviting an audience to a full performance even if no admission was charged". This was in Ohio. Amazing how their spy network works.

I confess...in middle school I used to perform productions of The Wizard Of Oz (RSC Adaptation) for myself with my beanie babies...cause I had no friends.

I wish I had pictures of that.

Hey, TooDarnHot, tell us more about your Drowsy Production.
Did you get a script or do it off the recording. And where did the dude get the crazy costume? And why was Man in Chair wearing a hat in his living room?

Oh gosh if that is case I totally could get busted for my illegal productions of LEADER OF THE PACK, THEY'RE PLAYING OUR SONG, DREAMGIRLS and MISS SAIGON (where i brought the house down as Kim)

of course, they were all in my bedroom *and my parents wonder how i got to be gay*

"Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around."

Rybka - did you wear costumes too?

I imagine your parents figured out you were gay when they found the Kim costume in your closet....

I'm doing an all-nude production of 1776 at my grandma's women-only nursing home.
BSoBW2: I punched Sondheim in the face after I saw Wicked and said, "Why couldn't you write like that!?"

I'm lovin the Wicked pics too. Looks like their first dress rehearsal took place in the director's living room. What's sad is, I could totally understand if all of these people were teenie boppers. This looks more like a cult.

I think the Showbill read Father presents
his childrens production
of
Wicked

Please stay after the performance as
there will be a reception with punch.
I adore the black band holding on the Phantom's mask. ~ Jenna2

Anyone know where to report illegal productions of "The Little Mermaid"? I know the people above me in the apartment complex keep dressing their daughter up as Ariel and I think something is fishy.
