2 Questions...

I'm planning to go with my Dad possibly to see 2 broadway shows this in the time frame from now till really the end of november, but if finances can't hack it we might have to cut it down to one. I'm debating like mad with myself as to which to go to. So my question to all of you is this:

1 ) If There is One Show To See Which Is It? DRS, Spam, Bee, Piazza, Doubt, OTHER(if other please name the show obviously)

2 ) If 2 Shows Are an Option Which Should I Add?

Thank you all... this summer we are seeing Phantom and Wicked already, so those are out. :)

So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.~Office Space

1. I would see DRS because its just a good ole fun time at the theater.
2. Piazza because Matt Morrison is my baby's daddy (and plus the music is beautiful, yadayadayada)

if one show see DRS if two shows see DRS and Bee or DRS and Spam (if youre willing to get up at 6 in the morning!) Bee and Spam are two very different kinds of shows so in order to pick, i would ask myself, would i rather watch "charlie brown" or "monty python (or saturday night live or something)" if you prefer the former, Bee is the show for you. if the latter, then Spam is the perfect match

you may know what you need but to get what you want better see that you keep what you have

Other than that I say def. The Light in the Piazza and for a second I suggest either Spelling Bee, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, or avenue Q if you haven't seen it, is rioutously funny...

Also have you taken a look at all the discount codes available?
http://www.broadwaybox.com/

Moreover if you choose Piazza as a student you can get a $20 through http://www.lct.org/studentix/ ... and then purchase full price for your father or you could use the Broadway Box code and buy two $70 tickets...

Sorry if you knew all this...or if someone ended posting first, while I was typing re: Which Show....

I agree. DRS or Spelling Bee. They're the two new funnest shows on broadway. I guess I would recommend DRS over Bee, though.

If you are able, try for SRO tickets to Spamalot. I thought it was definitely worth it. I loved the show.

1. Piazza - Tony Award winner for best lyrics and it really deserves it. The music is second to none.
2. Bee - very good as well.

Definitely see The Light in the Piazza. Wonderful show and it's a limited run, so this will probably be the only time you'd be able to see it. If you chose a second show, I'd say either Spelling Bee or Avenue Q. Two great, hilarious shows that are guaranteed to please. Enjoy the shows!

Its always hard for me to answer these unless you give someone info about yourself and tastes.

My personal favorite (of the ones ive seen) is Piazza. Hairspray is another favorite too. Avenue Q is good too but I dont know if thats a show for child/father experience- depends on your relationship I guess.

Wicked & Spam are extremley hard to get tix to unless you want to stand for the entire show or (for Wicked) try the lotto.

Bee is also hard to get tix to but not nearly as bad as Spam or Wicked. I'd reccomend Bee. Its so amazingly enjoyable. A real fun show.
