Ive heard a lot of people that go for different composers. Some people i know only like Andrew Lloyd Webber and some people i know who go to my school love Rodgers and Hammerstein. I love them both But who do you think is better? Either, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Rodgers and Hammerstien, or Irving Berlin. Tell me why you like the composer
Man, is the word 'better' going to turn this into a hornet's nest!

Why only those choices?

yeah...more choices. Not that I have anything against "oldies" when it comes to musicals, but there are a lot more contemporary composers who I prefer much, much more.
Frank Wildhorn to name one :c)

Let's see. Jason Robert Brown, Jonathan Larson, Stephen Sondheim, Andrew Lloyd Webber, and John Kander. Style points go to Andrew Lippa, Frederick Loewe, Claude-Michel Schönberg, and Benny Andersson & Björn Ulvaeus for Wild Party, My Fair Lady, Les Misérables, and Chess, respectively. Between them, you've got a vast range of styles, and that fits my ear perfectly.
