Which musicals should I be excited about this season?

Assuming I make my third annual trip to New York (next June), what musicals should I be looking forward to?
This past June I saw The Light in the Piazza, Spamalot, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, All Shook Up, and Sweet Charity, all of which I liked/loved, plus I'm seeing the tour of Little Women next month, which I'm also excited about.
But the few 2005-6 musicals I've heard about leave me cold.
So please...what shows will make it worth my while to travel from L.A. to New York next year? (Those that are likely to last till June.)

All day and only one response? I guess no one else is excited about the upcoming season. Neither Sweeney Tood nor The Woman in White would be reason for a trip to New York, nor do I think I'd be interested in seeing either of them if I went. Is this all I have to look forward to?

I'm making the trip from halfway across the world to see THE WOMAN IN WHITE and a few more ( waiting for reviews or previews' buzz)in late spring ( before the TONYs).

joniray, Slut actually closes on November 13. I wish it wouldn't because I would LOVE to see it. Andy Karl in a leading role will get me anytime.

There actually are a couple limited engagements that look interesting, like Slut and Miracle Brothers. However, you won't be in NY for them, so anyways....

I think The Great American Trailer Park Musical looks hilarious. It's got an amazing cast, and some people who have seen already have loved it.

Also, if you're interested, Altar Boyz was an absolutely phenomenal show. So hilarious, the overall performance by each castmember was amazing. It's not new, but hey. Still good.

There's also The Wedding Singer, which could be good. Stephen Lynch is so funny, and with him leading the show, it should be pretty strong.

Those are some shows I want to see (for the first time or again), so maybe they'll interest you.

The Great American Trailer Park Musical is the most fun I've had at the theatre in a long time. The cast-which notably features Kaitlin Hopkins, Orfeh and Shuler Hensley, among others-is wonderful from top to bottom. The run is open-ended, and could very likely still be playing come June. Go see it, if you get the opportunity!

Ahhh Orfeh, you do NOT want to miss Orfeh.

Thanks everyone for the tips. It does seem that there's some interesting stuff out there. And if Altar Boyz is still playing, I'd definitely love to see it, as I missed it last year.

I don't know if Two Gentlemen of Verona will transfer to Bway as it did in the early 70s, but you never know.

I agree with everyone about the great offerings Off-Broadway too!

Come to New York in June, eslgr8!!!! I always find there's MORE to see than I can fit into my visits!
