"Frozen" I do like the music, it would be interesting to see how they would pull off some things on stage. I know some affects might be challenging, but I would not go as far as to say impossible. Hex3, I would be interested in hearing some of your ideas.
"Mulan" might be good too, as well as "Sleeping Beauty."

Not from the list, but I've always thought that PETE'S DRAGON would make a great show. I adore the songs to begin with, but it could be very fun to stage.
I've imagined it this way: Don't show Elliot (the dragon) until the very end. Use the invisibility gimmick & the "no one believes me" thing the whole time ... but with neat effects (Pete riding his back, footprints, destruction, etc) -- then, hit the audience with an awesome animatronic dragon (a la "Walking with Dinosaurs") materializing for the lighthouse finale.

Posted: 1/7/14 at 10:59pmTo be honest, with the overwhelming success of FROZEN, how long do you guys give it to be on Broadway? It didn't took long at all for B&TB and TLK to be a show. Plus, Frozen may be a show at Disneyland already. So, it give it at least, 5 years to be on Broadway, 2-3 years to be a full stage adaption for a pre-Broadway run

"Amen to that..........but how about Saving Mr. Banks? That could be sort of weird and wonderful."
Yeah, I was sort of casting this in my head while I watched the movie. It would be wonderful, but quite unnecessary.

Enchanted to me screams out to be on stage. The songs are strong and the story would
be easy to translate to the stage without too much extra padding
Hercules would be brilliant on stage, a big fun spectacle with a very strong score.
Sleeping Beauty I think would struggle to be extended into a full show as the story itself is quite simple.
Pocahontas could be brilliant if they were to mix the Disney movie with a bit more historical accuracy to make a slightly more adult show

I agree, it's my favourite Disney Classic and the mature atmosphere and glorious music would translate well to theatre. Think of what they could do with the gifts of beauty at the beginning with choir, lights and projection.

Posted: 1/8/14 at 3:10pmIs the currently-in-development FREAKY FRIDAY based more on the 1977 version or the 2003 version? Or is it a modern take on the original book?

Your source is wrong and you previously lied in the thread about CHILDREN OF EDEN licensing. I would encourage you to check back with your source.
