White Ribbon Knots on Tony Outfits

Did you notice the subtle but gorgeous white-knotted-ribbons (for marriage equality) worn by some of the presenters and nominees?

I ended up focusing more on the conspicuous lack of white ribbons tonight. I don't recall many more than the ones Eug mentioned.

I agree. Once there's marriage equality, there won't even need to be red ribbons anymore.

I think it's white ribbon KNOTS ( as in tie the knot) that were shown but plain white ribbons are against domestic violence/ male on female violence @ least in Ontario.

I was surprised that on TONY night, the Gay Easter, there was only one mention of marriage equality and it was from the STRAIGHT producer of Hair.

Sabrelady: Your definition of "white ribbon" is correct... but that's not relevant necessarily to this conversation.

I am referring to the white knotted-ribbons that were worn on the lapels of some of the presenters on the Tonys. They represent Marriage Equality.
