"Tony Award winner Julie White and Johnny Galecki, stars of Douglas Carter Beane's Tony Award-nominated comedy The Little Dog Laughed Off-Broadway and on, will recreate their roles in the Center Theatre Group's Los Angeles presentation of the play at the Kirk Douglas Theatre Nov. 16-Dec. 21.
White won the 2007 Best Actress Tony playing sharky talent agent Diane, who wants to keep her gay Hollywood-star client, Mitchell, in the closet. In the New York production, Galecki (TV's "Roseanne," "The Big Bang Theory") played Alex, the new lover of the star. Galecki returns to the part that won him a Theatre World Award on Broadway.
The L.A. production, again directed by Scott Ellis, opens Nov. 23.
The New York City world premiere was produced by Second Stage Theatre. The production moved to Broadway, where Tom Everett Scott played Mitchell (Neal Huff created the role Off-Broadway at Second Stage).
Also featured in the L.A. run of the satire of Hollywood personalities will be Brian Henderson (who was the Alex/Mitchell understudy on Broadway) and Zoe Lister-Jones (who created the girlfriend role of Ellen in the play's premiere at Second Stage; Ari Graynor played the role on Broadway)..."

HUGE FAN of Johnny's.
Shame I can't make this.
*shakes fist*
Whoever gets to see this is ridiculously lucky.
Not catching this show is one of my biggest regrets of the last few theater-going seasons.
Oh my God. Yes.
No one does it like Julie. I've seen two other production since seeing it on Broadway. While hysterical, they just don't compare. And it was all thanks to the enormously talented Julie White.
Whoever goes to see this is making an excellent life decision.
