Isn't it interesting that the Brooklyn threads are now no longer filled with shills, but with complainers? If you don't reply to the thread, it will probably quickly disappear. It's the Brooklyn whiners that keep the threads alive, not the shills.
Yes, there will be a lot of Brooklyn threads. Just like there were a lot of Wicked threads and before that, Hairspray threads and Millie threads. After Brooklyn, it will be something else. There are always shows that will carry large fan bases and they will post here. If you want to talk about something else, then start a new thread. If you don't like shills, son't respond to them. It's not like they're gonna make or break a show posting threads on this website.
I'm not a Brooklyn fan or shill. I really don't know anything about the show. I might see it, I might not, depending whether it is still running the next time I'm in NYC or if it tours to Chicago. But you know what? I'm glad that people are excited about a Broadway musical. ANY musical. Excited enough to want to talk about it. If this country had more of those people, then maybe plays and musicals would be taken a bit more seriously in the US. Thank God for shills. At least they're doing something to try and help a show and not complaining about people who are excited about seeing it.

Posted: 9/6/04 at 2:33pmSaw Brooklyn here in Denver. It is a very entertaining show with good performances and nice music. The three females that are in it on B'way are original cast members. The 2 men are not. Karen Olivo impressed me more than Eden. And Ramona Keller has a wonderful voice. (She played 1/3 of the Radio in Caroline or Change. It amazes me that nobody is raving about her. But it is my thought that most of the Eden fans did not see Caroline. But I could be wrong.) If you saw Caroline, you know this girl can wail! I saw Cleavant Derricks in Dreamgirls. He's good. I think this marks his return to B'way since Dreamgirls. It will be interesting to see/hear him after so long.

Yay guys! I got my avatar to work. But, am I going to be dipped in meat and attacked by angry dogs for this? I really have nothing against the musical, I just find all these silly discussions hilarious.

They willingly create screenames and post on message boards all over the internet trying to sneakily create hype. Unfortunately they are awful at it. Do a search for the name FRANKEN.
