Cathy Rigby's 'final bow' in PETER PAN starts this September in a National Tour, possibly Broadway bound.

Who do you think would make a good Captain Hook?

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Alan Cumming.

Alec Baldwin might even be a good Hook.

Alan Cumming! LOVE that idea!

Not sure if Jason Isaacs can sing, but he was a perfect Hook in the new live-action movie. He wouldn't leave the movie biz to tour, though.

Ahem....Has anyone considered the man who genuinely hates children and has enormous acting talent? Me?

I think Alan Cumming would be perfect!! He would definitely make an incredible Hook. He has the voice, the look, the acting ability- it's perfect.

for fear that you might take your child hating tendenices too seriously and we would have to keep hiring new little actors !! :)

Way too expensive

I vote for one of the most versatile, talented actors in theatre: LEWIS J. STADLEN.

I saw Lewis J. Stadlen as Max in "The Producers" and personally found him to be nothing special. But then again the sound system kept malfunctioning the whole performance...so maybe it was that.

Brent Barrett

I have always thought that Brent Barrett would be aspectacular Captain Hook!!! Maybe Chris Sieber... but I wouldn't want them in a "Rigby" Pan......

I was thinking Brett Barrett, too. I think that Alan Cumming would be a better choice. He's more sinister and dark-looking. I think he'd be perfect. Jessica Grove for Wendy!

Jessica is also my top "Wendy". Though once again, not in a "Rigby" Pan....

Elisa Sagardia is once again playing Wendy for this tour.....

Yes, Dana Solimando also returns for the first part of the tour. She leaves at some point.

What about casting for Smee? I'd always wanted to see a great Smee/Hook duo.

I guess I have to duke it out with Dollypop for the role. (of Hook, that is)

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

Standlen is a very talented actor though I didn't see him in the role of Max...thought he was terribly miscast. Saw him in the Man Who Came to Dinner, playing Banjo and he was superb

Lewis J. Stadlen was brilliant in THE PRODUCERS. Second only to Mr. Brad Oscar... haha... I love him! I love Alan Cumming more than pizza, but I think he is too sexy and famous to be Captain Hook. Come on, Rigby getting billing over a novelist Tony Award Winner who is a star of stage and screen? I don't think so. It would be very difficult to see anyone other than Paul Shoefller (sp?) in the role because he is an incredible actor and irreplaceable as Hook. John Lithgow would never do it, also too famous and a bit of a jerk, but he would be brilliant as Hook as well. I am going to have to suggest my old friend Brad Oscar. Haha! Just because I love him and he could sing the crap out of Hook.
