Patrick Stewart as Hook?

I got to fly in the ballet La Fille Mal Gardee and that was a heck of a lot of fun. I want to be Peter!!!

I love the Doug Sills idea or how about Tim Curry?

"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Conan O'Brien

haha, Alan Cumming... that man can do anything. Douglas Sills was a great suggestion, too.

How about Joey Fatone?

Carol Channing could play Peter Pan. Y'know, if she got lost on her way back to Neverland.

Captain Hook has John Lithgow written all over it. Keep in mind that Captain Hook is usually also Mr. Darling, the father of Wendy, Micheal and Jihn.

Praying Decca Broadway will put "Don't Bother Me, I Can't Cope" on CD!

Being serious, I really think Alan Cumming would play the role very well.

Since Tom Hewitt isn't available, how about Jeff McCarthy?

There's always J.K. Simmons, of "Law and Order"/"Oz" fame, who did the last Sandy Duncan version.

If they wanted a big star - like for a new television version, Kelsey Grammer would be perfect.

Guy LeMonnier would make a great Captain Hook!

YIKES! Kelsey Grammer is WAY too effeminate to play the role - who'd find HIM menacing?

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

George Rose and Christopher Hewitt played opposite Sandy Duncan. J.K. Simmons played opposite Cathy Rigby in the early 90s.

"Way to effeminate" to play Hook?!!! Do you mean a compared with Cyril Richard or Christopher Hewett? Actually this role is more often played "fay" more often than not(personal opinion is that it plays better this way-funnier.

Just my opinion, I may be wrong.

of course it can and probably should be played with a degree of "fey" quality - but he should still be quite menacing when the need arises -and I don't see Kelsey Grammer being able to produce that quality on stage.

I am LOVING this conversation.

Alan Cumming would be GREAT!

Casting for the tour is complete (except for one Lost Boy).

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Cast hasn't been announced yet, accept that Cathy Rigby returns as Peter Pan, Elisa Sagradia returns as Wendy Darling, and Dana Solimando returns as Tiger Lily.
