I was third in line (got there at 8am this morning), but by the time 10am rolled around, the line was pretty long. I have a feeling tonight is going to be amazing.

Just got back; it was a great concert. I'm not much for writing reviews but I'm sure someone else will write one. She was as cute and vocally impressive as always. Not going to lie; I was probably more excited to see Andrew Lippa than Cheno. Hehe. Anywho, I loved the little shtick-esque things but wasn't crazy about the program as a whole; I preferred the second half to the first.

In other news: I saw Bette Midler at intermission, and apparently news travels fast, as it had gotten back to Ms. Chenoweth by the time the second half had started.
Also, the standing room space is extremely limited! I was surprised at how cramped the area was. But a big, big thanks to the hygenically-challenged, broad-hipped man next to whom I was standing. Awesome. Thank God for fragrant gum.

Cheno was fabulous. I am so glad I went tonight.
The song from Candide she sang was "Glitter and Be Gay," which was incredible. I'm so glad she sang that song!
The program really showed her range...some funny songs, some serious songs, ballads, operatic songs. Kristin really has a wonderful voice.
She was definitely nervous (I would have been too), but was still brilliant. Congrats on your Met debut!
PS: I'm glad I got SRO in the Dress Circle...not cramped or crowded at all! Thanks for the tip.

Sounds like a fun concert! Yay for Andrew Lippa being there! Glad she sounded good.

I was in the absolute LAST ROW! I loved the concert. She was phenomenal. She started crying when singing her 2nd encore to Lippa.
I saw Bette Midler in the lobby before the show! I wanted to talk to her, but it was obvious she was trying to keep a low profile. Did anyone see Rosie there? She had mentioned that she was coming, but I didn't see her. Did anyone meet Kristin afterward? We gave up after a while. (We did see Bette again coming out of the stage door). As we were leaving, we saw Ethan Hawke coming out of his show.
(On a side note, we saw Company on Saturday night and met Raul after...he is a GEM.)
