Wooh, may i ask how? Do you have connection? Did you go to a special screening? Do you live in the future by any chance?
Sorry about all the questions, just curious.

When does it come out? Jan 13 or Dec 25? Is it a limited release?
"`I grow old... I grow old... I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.` What does that mean, Mr. Marlowe?"
"Not a bloody thing. It just sounds good."
He smiled. "That is from the `Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock.` Here's another one. `In the room women come and go/Talking of Michael Angelo.' Does that suggest anything to you, sir?"
"Yeah -- it suggests to me that the guy didn't know very much about women."
"My sentiments exactly, sir. Nonetheless I admire T. S. Eliot very much."
"Did you say, 'nonetheless'?"

I can't wait!
I think you should check out the soundtrack if you aren't familiar with the show. You shouldn't judge Uma's singing from the trailer. On the soundtrack she takes a while to get used to in the lower key (and especially if you've heard Caddy Huffman sing it.) But now I really enjoy her singing. She sounds VERY pretty "That Face." Her voice is smooth like butter on that number. They cut most of what would be the "Act 1 Finale" on stage that would've probally been her most challenging singing part for Uma. I am sad they cut that part though - it's a thrilling/powerful moment on stage.

I saw a sneak preview on Monday night, and the musical version did NOT translate well to screen. The cast spent way too much time singing to the camera. It was just akward. Uma really can't sing that well either.

I am so excited about this movie. I've been waiting for it, ever since they announced they were going to do it. I'm going to be the big geek at the movies when I see because I'm wearing my Producers hat and my Bialystock and Bloom shirt(I am such a geek).
My english teacher is also very eager about seeing the movie. He hasn't seen the stage show, but he's seen the original and will occasionally sing a little Springtime.

Even DAME liked it?
It must be good...
(of course, I am not making fun of DAME... I wouldn't want to get killed)

I'm not excited for Uma Thurman, but I'm *trying* not to make judgements about her till I see her in the movie.

I am REALLY EXCITED. Everything looks great. Well, except that I am not that excited about Uma Thurman, I don't like her that much. I wish they could have gotten Cady Huffman to revive her role, but I guess they wanted a big name. I really can't wait to see it

"The King of Broadway", "In Old Bavaria", and the reprise of "That Face" were all filmed and cut, according to an interview with Susan Stroman. Though not a seperate track on the CD, I'm assuming "Act I Finale" was deleted.
...And so, there I was at the stage door for "Equus". The enthused avalanche of "Harry Potter" fans was literally pushing me into the barricades. As I was thrust face-first into Daniel Radcliffe's hat, I suddenly felt the thumb of a lanky gentleman behind me pressing firmly into my back. It was then that I realized that both of his hands had Playbills, and that both arms were outstretched in front of me...
